About the Award
The Nafis Award was established as an extension of Nafis program vision, which was launched as part of the Projects of Fifties initiatives in 2021, to achieve the UAE Vision 2031 by highlighting distinguished Entities and Emirati talents working in the private and banking sectors.to recognize and honor the outstanding contributions of Emiratis and private sector entities working towards the goals of Emiratisation. This award aims to highlight exceptional efforts in promoting national talent, fostering innovation, and supporting the UAE’s economic diversification by increasing the participation of Emiratis in various industries. Through this award, the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council seeks to inspire individuals and organizations to commit to Emiratisation as a core strategy, rewarding those who go above and beyond in nurturing Emirati potential. With categories that encompass individual achievements and institutional excellence, the Nafis Award is a symbol of dedication to building a competitive and sustainable national workforce. Nafis Award celebrated entities and individuals driving Emiratization and shaping the future of the UAE workforce

In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, the winners of the first cycle of the Nafis Award were honored in a ceremony held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. The event was attended by several ministers, senior officials, and business leaders, who gathered to celebrate outstanding achievements in the UAE's private sector. During the ceremony, the names of the winners in the Entities category were announced in recognition of their contributions to Emiratization, as well as Emirati employees in the private sector who excelled in various professional fields.

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (ETCC), honoured the winners of the second cycles of Nafis Award 2023-2024, during a ceremony held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. The ceremony was attended by several ministers, senior officials, business leaders, and public figures. The awards recognised the achievements of winners in both the Entities and Individual categories as well as the Strategic partners of the ETCC for 2023 and honoured more than 40 entities that made exceptional efforts to support Emiratisation.
