About the Award
The Nafis Award was launched in 2022 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council.
The award aims to honor outstanding Emiratis working in the private, banking, insurance, and financial sectors, as well as public benefit associations and private educational institutions and Freezones. It also recognizes the entities registered with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and the Central Bank of the UAE.
Vision
To highlight and award Emirati talent and private entities for their efforts in supporting the Emiratization initiatives.
Mission
To honor and motivate entities to increase Emiratization rates in the private sector across the UAE, while enhancing the skills and competencies of Emirati talents to strengthen their competitiveness in the workforce, ultimately contributing to the development of a skilled national workforce, increased productivity and sustainable development.

Entities Category
The Entities category within Nafis Award aims to highlight the best practices in employing and training Emirati talent in private and banking sector establishments and to honor outstanding practices. It seeks to strengthen the partnership between the government and the private sector to continue pioneering efforts in achieving governmental directives and developing the national economy, led by competitive Emirati talent.
Individuals Category
In recognition of the role of Emirati talent in driving the country's economic development across various sectors and their contribution to achieving the UAE Vision 2031 goals, the subcategories have been carefully designed to cover all vital functional areas in the private and banking sectors. The focus will be on several pillars that promote the values and principles of professional excellence, encouraging national talent to give their best to enhance performance on both professional and personal levels.
